Harmonica

Yeah, I love it.

I love blues, and I love a good blues harp.

And you just wail on it on the next song we're going to listen to, which is one of my favorite standard songs.

First time I heard it, I heard it on Clapton, on Eric Clapton doing it pre-recorded, like a live concert or something, but it's blow, wind, blow.

So, you know, part of the joke is that she's always kind of like, yeah, a little more like otherworldly, like you said.

So having to kind of break character to play Harmonica would be very funny.

um because that's actually

then i i realized that that should actually be part of her character is a running gag where when you hear music in the background it suddenly pans to mortician it reveals that she's playing it and it's diegetic after all that would be pretty good actually kind of like you know like uh during the mamushka scene in the first movie where suddenly we we it's revealed that it's actually morticia playing the violin

But it sounds out of place, lyrically at least, musically not so much.

Harmonica, as Joe said, is fantastic.

Every touch of harmonica on the album is just wonderful.

I can actually understand why Bowie must have been terribly influenced by this album, by songs like Candle or even Solitude, because they are very similar to what his early albums were, his first two in particular.

I came across a free performance right in the middle of the city.

Harmonica, saxophone, and vocals filled the air.

And the musicians played American tunes I recognized.

Between songs, they spoke Danish.

I agree.

But mostly it's because I hate Harmonica.

I was going to say it's the Harmonica.

And his voice literally makes me want to break things

in half.

But, you know, on the one hand, yay, great.

People love him for Moonlighting, so they're going to buy his Harmonica album.

That's cool.

But the problem is that's not really a launchpad to a musical career for most people.

Maybe.

Andy's Harmonicas.

Maybe.

Maybe.

That's right.

But my, my whole question is if it's, if you're sticking it in your pocket, does that mean it's something that can easily break also?

Harmonicas are tough.

Are they? Okay.

Yeah, every instrument can really benefit from it.

I'm going to have to buy another one from you so I can try out Harmonica because the cover band I'm playing in, we're doing some songs that have Harmonica and I'm the guy that's going to have to do it.

But, you know, I think one of the most unique things about Darwin Audio too with your products is the cams that you find are so visual you know it's like it reminded me uh you know of growing up during that time to where the designs were just more fun they were more you know in your face they were more colorful and it's and i mean you were saying on ebay because i was thinking darwin i'm like going because i knew kids like back when i was in boy scouts who would um who would collect cans, you know, beer cans or soda cans and all those kinds of things.

I thought he must be buying out people's collections, but you, but you're just finding them all on eBay.

It was kind of funny because in the studio that day, I was trying to figure out out how that fiddle intro should go and I was like yeah I'm kind of thinking like you know full traditional sound like kind of like Amarillo by morning and he's like yeah I think I can do that well I'm not positive but I think he played that I think that's why he knew what I was talking about

We've talked to some of those type of musicians, Fiddler, Harmonica, and hearing them talk about being that person, that's job it is, is to figure out when to sort of weave in and weave out.

And support.

And support is so fascinating to us.
