Harlon Barnett

And I'm thinking to myself, Rob, wh- why do we run these every week? And then I listen to them again.

There's more entertainment value and more information value in one Pat Fitzgerald press conference than there was in a month of Mark Dantonio or Mel Tucker or Harlon Barnett and, and an entire season of Jonathan Smith.

We'll be back with Fitz coming up next on The Drive with Jack.

[upbeat music] Jack Ebling here with my good friend Matt Sloan at Graff of Okemos.

The big storyline in this one, be- beyond just it being homecoming, is of course the return to Michigan State for Kayden Hauser.

Uh, of course, he spent two years to start his co- collegiate career in East Lanting, 2022 season as a true freshman, and then 2023, uh, he was the starter for basically the back half of that season with, uh, you know, Mel Tucker gets fired, interim head coach is Harlon Barnett.

Uh, and you know, Hauser, Hauser got some starting experience in there.

He goes to East Carolina for two years.
