Hard Candy

So Furious, please go watch now.

And then if you want to throw back Hard Candy starring Elliot Page.

I can't

watch that again.

fucking Juno.

She's from Hard Candy.

She's a badass actress.

Wait, she's a dude now? I'm sorry, actor.

Right, right.

So another movie that I think is vastly underrated is Elliot Page pre-transition was in a film called Hard Candy.

Hard Candy is great.

And the film is almost entirely just the antagonist and the protagonist, and it is deeply unsettling.

Like, if you...

I didn't think I saw it.

When I was thinking about it, I was just like, oh my god, he was in Hard Candy and Watchmen.

He was on

Girls for

It's a lot for too long.

I'm going to go hard candy.

Ooh, cool.

Hard candy.

Um, starring Elliot page and Patrick Wilson.

Uh, this is Elliot page, uh, pre-transition, uh, playing a teenage girl that is getting, uh, creeped on by grown people and she decides to take things into her own hands again I'm saying she the character and it's Patrick Wilson before he played Aquaman's brother Yeah, that is exactly correct.

He took Little Miss Sunshine, Pan's Labyrinth, The Wind That Shakes the Barley, Accepted, and the D wears P. Devil wears Prada.

I went second.

...

even though the first thing I saw him in was Hard Candy, where he-

Same

... plays a pedophile.

Mm.

I think, like, my version that I wanna read is, which I don't think is from a book, but the movie Hard Candy with-

Mm-hmm

...

I like his range because I think he's capable of quite a bit.

Honestly, my favorite flavor of Patrick Wilson is probably like creepy suburban guy, like hard candy little children.

But Nicole is just like, I'm crushing Nicole's dreams right now.

And his creepy suburban guy.

So one of these days I'm going to get into Tom Parada.

Sounds good.

But I also really loved I loved him in Hard Candy.

And then he's a Broadway guy from way back.

You seem to be able to, but I really couldn't.

Oh, he's also in Hard Candy in 05, too.

Okay.

Yeah.

Oh,

that's right.

I also think Hard Candy, I think that went to festivals in 05, and I think it was

put in theaters in 06.
