I forgot she was in Happy-Go-Lucky like almost 20 years ago.

Um, and she plays a woman who is, uh, turning 40, single, has just moved back in with a friend.

Her life is kind of at a crossroads.

Burning After Reading, In Bruges, Milk, Synecdoche, New York, and Wally.

On our side, we did Happy Go Lucky, In Bruges, Rachel Getting Married, Synecdoche, New York, and Wally.

Great titles all around.

Really, really tough choice, in my opinion.

The community said Viola Davis for Doubt, Sally Hawkins for Happy Go Lucky, Dev Patel for Slumdog Billionaire, Frida Pinto, Slumdog Billionaire, and Michael Shannon for Revolutionary Road.

We did four out of five of those with Viola Davis, Sally Hawkins, Deb Patel, and Frida Pinto.

She beat out Amy Adams in Doubt, Viola Davis in Doubt, Taraji P. Henson for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Marisa Tomei for The Wrestler.

Best Writing in an Original Screenplay went to Milk, beating out Frozen River, Happy-Go-Lucky, In Bruges, and WALL-E.

Best Writing for an Adapted Screenplay went to Slumdog Millionaire, beating out The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Doubt, Frost/Nixon, and The Reader.

Best Animated Feature Film went to WALL-E, beating out Bolt and Kung Fu Panda.

Best Drama went to Slumdog Millionaire, beating out The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, The Reader, and Revolutionary Road.

So Revolutionary Road bumps Milk in their nominee list.

For Musical or Comedy, they gave it to Vicky Cristina Barcelona, beating Burn After Reading, Happy-Go-Lucky, In Bruges, and Mamma Mia.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture Drama went to Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler, beating out Leonardo DiCaprio from Revolutionary Road, Frank Langella for Frost/Nixon, Brad Pitt for Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Sean Penn for Milk.
