Hanneke's especially interested in ways that people can keep their brain stimulated and also how to help people cope with memory problems to complement the drug treatments that are available.

Well, I think what you can do most is, uh, well, there are a few things that I think is important and, and even though I'm a clinical neuroscientist, I sort of alluded to psychology, uh, quite heavily.

Hanneke HulstGUEST
I think having, uh, the network involved, uh, is helpful so that people understand.

Hanneke HulstGUEST
And it may not be fun, but at least you have some kind of com- companionship in what you're going through.

Hanneke HulstGUEST
The other thing is I think, and this is not necessarily particular to MS, but I would say to every person with, well, to every person basically, and then even more so if you have a neurological disease, uh, make sure that you take care of your brain health, which means like try to eat healthy, sleep well, uh, take your rest, um, but also make sure you exercise, uh, so that you keep the mind and, and the blood flow going.

Hanneke HulstGUEST
And, uh, perhaps, and this is obviously completely biased with my expertise, um, keep your brain cognitively active.
