Hannah More

It's essentially a library service for audiobooks.

One of the Christians discussed in the book is Hannah Moore, who lived in the late 18th century.

She piqued my interest because she lived mostly in the area of England in which I currently live.

At the time that Hannah was alive, it had regions of extreme poverty.

Hannah, as well as being an abolitionist and a contemporary of William Wilberforce, put a lot of effort into philanthropy and the education of children.

This included evangelism and Bible education.

In fact, for people like Hannah, teaching children to read typically meant teaching them to read the Bible.

After all, this is the age that spawned aggressive missionary activity.

And then, um, a lot of it just like as a Christian made sense.

It's, and then I discovered more recently that people like Amy Carmichael in the school that she started in, like the Dohnavur Fellowship in India, she used a lot of those same principles, and a lot of those were drawn from Hannah More much earlier-
