Hannah Maruyama

I'm Kelly Smith, your host.

Today I'm going to be talking to Hannah Maruyama.

She is the founder of Degree Free and the author of The Degree Free Way.

She built her own degree free career in AI and machine learning, now helps parents and young adults think clearly about education, work and career paths, especially when the old default of just go to college no longer fits.

So let's talk a little bit about, just introduce yourself to our listeners and tell me a little bit of your personal story.

I'd love to.

My name is Hannah Maruyama.

I am the founder of Degree Free and we help 16 to 20 year olds find the right career path based on the needs that they have and then figure out how they're going to launch it.

The trades are paying way more.

That Hannah Maruyama, who has Degree Free, she goes in depth into the details of that, and I don't remember what they are.

But the, one of the things that she talks about is, and people discount that four-year period of 18 to 22 when you can grow so much.

Like, you can have all of these different experiences.
