Hancock Park

Like, you know, they film on the streets of L.A. and people just love to watch because it's out in the open.

And when there is a period piece, I, for example, used to live in Hancock Park adjacent.

And the houses along that street were built in 1927 in the old street lamps.

It was always used for films that were period pieces of the 1920s.

A few things I do know about Hollywood, Julia.

It's very hard for a lot of the people there in the industry, especially some of the executives there who have become quite comfortable with their houses in Brentwood and Beverly Hills and Hancock Park, it is very hard for them to fathom moving to Nashville and what that would look like.

But would it be? So this is my question, because we had this conversation about the same company, Paramount.

Oh, God, Dylan, was it a few months ago when there was the CBS debacle or they were like, we're going to move it to Jersey or whatever it was? And obviously that has not happened.

Rebbetzin Hamilton writes that when people meet her son, they see a boy in a wheelchair who is unable to talk, to walk, or even to feed himself.

When I heard her speak in person in the backyard of a home in Hancock Park, I couldn't help but weep, even with her positive and uplifting attitude.

Her story struck a deep chord of pain and grief with me.

Nithya Raman, you remember her home made an appearance in a Spencer Pratt commercial to point out the hypocrisy of Nithya Raman and Karen Bass, who lives in a taxpayer-paid, really nice house in Hancock Park.

The two of them force a lot of people to live with homeless encampments.

fouling up their neighborhoods with all the disgusting things that you find in those encampments.

Either way, I'm driving here, and they're going to be at the producer's house of Friends.

And, okay, where's that? And then they tell—it's in Hancock Park.

It's on the west side.

Bel Air.

Hmm.

It was in Hancock Park.

Really?

Hancock Park.

Remember, 'cause they, the scene in the show where Ali up in the room when Mickey trying to pack up to leave and say, "You can't beat this guy." Rocky said, "What you mean?" He said, "No, this guy'll knock you into tomorrow, Rock."

Well, there's a couple of them.

The locations were, you know, Hollywood Boulevard, Hudson Avenue down in Hancock Park, parts of downtown LA, the Union Pacific substation in Culver City.

There was a whole bunch of really cool locations Locations that they use, especially when they do this big runaway thing.

Running around in the streets is downtown LA.

We're selling this house.

My wife and I lived in Hancock Park, and there started to be, and Hancock Park is like a nice neighborhood, and there started to be homeless people on the streets, and they would be like on your block, and you talk to the other neighbors and be like, oh, well, they realize that if you stand on this part of the street, like in the grass, they're allowed to stay there, and you can't tell them to leave, even if the police come.

Yes, even if the police come, the rule is you can't tell them to leave.

So we had a dog, my dog Wheezy, RIP, passed away.
