Hanahan

I, I had a...

Even up in Hanahan.

You know where that's at?

Of course I know where Hanahan's at.

Yeah.

You had one of them big bunky gal down there.

They're absolutely trouble.

Oceanside Collegiate beats Hanahan, hands the Hawks their first loss.

Oceanside Collegiate 31, Hanahan 21.

We told you not to sleep on Oceanside Collegiate because even though they took the three losses, really rugged non-league schedule.

West Ashley 16, Stratford 3.

You mentioned them, though, Smitty, and I'll hit them quickly as we still have a couple of scores in the Rock Hill area that we want to grab here.

Teams to watch, obviously, Berkeley, James Island, Bishop England.

I think that Oceanside win, 31-21 over Hanahan, resets the scales a little bit.

This'll shake things up in that region really well and just to see where, where teams stand and where teams sit, uh, going into the rest of October.

And then Hanahan and Oceanside.

Oceanside, uh, correct me if I'm wrong, had a big victory a couple weeks ago.

Beat somebody of, of note, I wanna say, down there.

They, they've played some teams out of state that's really good.

Um, they, they played a really tough schedule.

Hanahan's undefeated.

They've been really blitzing people.

And I mean, their offense as well, the rushing game is something that SC State's been really good at.

I've been really impressed with Josh Shaw, the Hanahan alum, a guy who has nine touchdown rushes so far this season after he had eight in his previous four years.

So once they get into a short yardage situation, he's been an almost guarantee inside that 10 or five yard line for SC State.

We're going to be right back to wrap up this edition of Palmetto Sports Daily coming up right after this.

He's from

Hanahan.

Of course he did.

He went to school.

And Chapman is now 6-0.

Hanahan is still undefeated.

They're in the lower part of the state.

And now we've got Harry telling us about Wren and how good they look on both sides of the ball.

They defeat Bluffton 57-12.

Fort Dorchester gets a 33-12 win over Ashley Ridge.

Hanahan, I think they're still undefeated, 28-3 over Colleton County.

Am I right about that, Rob? You are correct.

On the road at a good Bluffton team.

And Colleton County is at Hanahan.

There's another player that's highlighted in Rob Williams' top 25 offensive players.

Go to fourquarterfriday.com for that.

The other one, you mentioned Tripp Gallas.

And Colleton County is 1-3, so maybe not as much light shining on this one.

But a 5-0 Hanahan team, Smitty, with a big framed Tripp Gallas who's almost at 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns already through half of the season.

Definitely something to watch down there.

Yeah, so right now we are meeting in our church's rented office space.

So my full-time role as a pastor here, we planted a church about a year ago here in Hanahan.

So this is a rental space where we meet here, we store here, all our kid supplies are here, some of our audio-video equipment is stored here.

So this is a space in the middle of the community, which is close to where we meet on Sundays, which is a little elementary school just down the road.

We left the other side of town, which is our sending church.

We call it our big brother church.

And they sent us over to this side of town here in Hanahan.

So we planted a church.
