Translating to flower cards, these were a style of Japanese playing cards used to play a variety of games.

people don't know what traditional Japanese playing cards are, um, Hanafuda cards, there's a game called Koi Koi that you play with them.

And by being that and also having origami artwork, I know in my heart that they basically not basically copied because, you know, they innovated it.

And to a certain extent, the arcade market, with the exception of Namco, who ultimately was subsumed by Nintendo as one of their licensees.
