I'm trying to remember who scored those goals against Nice I think it was Igaman double that was the night he announced himself I think Mo Diamandi scored a goal it was kind of a volley from the narrow position and then the fourth goal I want to say was it a set piece maybe maybe not can't remember It was definitely a good man with two.

I was there as well, but I can't remember much of it because I was too busy, delirious and full of French liquor, shall we say.

And beyond losing Boadi, it looks like they're going to have quite a lot of kind of stability and be able to take the success that they had last season and continue as a kind of coherent group in a way which is pretty different to Excellence, you have to say, right, that we previewed in another episode where we talked about all the changes that had to happen, you know, in the midfield, at the back, etc.

So it seems like quite a reasonable mercato, a careful one in the kind of typical Lille way, which is likely going to also include a huge sale and lots of money into the coffers of Litton's excellently run football team.

And I think they haven't lost too many other players.

And if you look at somebody like Igaman, who came on really strong when he joined last season and then was unfortunately injured, which I think cost him, um you know they they might have the ability they've lost somebody like thomas monnier who i think was a positive influence in the dressing room and a versatile player but they still have the core of the team that finished i think they finished third last season if i'm not mistaken third or fourth right and uh sure new manager but the infrastructure And the playing staff are there for them to have a real go at it.

And obviously they have European nights as well.

But it does feel as though they have the stability of a club that's used to challenging perhaps a little higher than Rennes in recent seasons.
