Yeah, you don't see that much now.

Didn't see it at Hammerjacks.

Didn't see it at the clubs.

It just...

You know, it was pretty good.

I think it's just like Bohemian Rhapsody.

If you weren't a fan of the band, didn't grow up with the band, didn't grow up with Hammerjacks, didn't go there.

It's a great surface piece.

Stuff that is fringy.

And this would really speak to you being in that booth at Hammerjacks, which is one of the thrills of me having you out here today because I'm doing this 28th anniversary.

John Allen's going to come out and rock out with Bud Becker, who was the original voice of Hammerjacks.

So Bud's going to come out.

And Bud was once Kiss's tour manager.

And I, I agree with you.

Well, I mean, I went to Hammerjacks back in the day and ripped Pretty Boy Floyd.

And dude, I'm going through the reviews.

I ripped Elton John.

You've been to a lot of basketball games, Don.

And, and I'm thinking, "Okay." I generally tell people it was The Alarm at Hammerjacks in 1990, and I just showed the picture with John Allen, that I have a picture backstage that night.

I have the r- I found the review I wrote that night about that concert.

But when people ask me, I'm like, "I saw the future of rock and roll that night." Dude, I saw Live Aid.

I've never seen like a permanent, a laminate.

Well, Yeah, pretty much for Hammerjacks.

I mean, I wasn't looking for them back then because we were playing there all the time.

I was 17 years old, and Bud Becker made this for me.

Nice.

You guys played Hammerjacks on June 16th.

Tickets that night.

So they took, they took their own song, which was perfect and an amazing song, but they, they perform it as this fake band.

Which, by the way, you know, that club, Hammerjacks, is one that I grew up going to, you know.

Um, and, you know, I've been to the video store where Chip works, you know.

Like, as far as being a Marylander and growing up, this particular movie was the most connected to my experience, because it's the movie that came out when I was in college.

Right? Most underrated line of dialogue.

You've spouted off these sort of fun, random...

I mean, like, the, the bouncer at Hammerjacks.

"Even I was impressed you thought of that," you know? [laughs]

That, that's one on the, if I had to pick one.

See, that's awesome because, like, I tell people I saw The Alarm at Hammerjacks, and dude, I f- when anybody would ask me of the greatest concert I've seen, and dude, I, I went to Live Aid.

I mean, I, Amnesty.

I've sat in the front row for all, everything.

I've interviewed Robert Plant over soup and a salad.

Like, I've just done amazing ish.

But like, I would say The Alarm at Hammerjacks.

Some people say, "Who are The Alarm? I don't, uh, uh, where, you know, like, w- what's the s- song," or whatever.

And at some point, Bud Becker's going to do the show.

And I talked to Bud this week because Bud's a great guy.

And we'll sit and talk to Bud.

I'd love to see Bud.

Bud was the person who booked all the bands at Hammerjacks.
