Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board

Before I ask you why you are running, can you first explain what a school board trustee is?

A school board trustee is an elected person of the community who advocates for the community schools and families representing with Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board and Hamilton Council.

Why are you running for trustee, and why should people elect you?

Well, I've said this before, I'm a family man with three kids.

Has that been rectified yet or is this just still kind of in dispute?

Currently, the last time I checked, there were no minutes on the school council website whatsoever because HWDSB did go through a revamp of their website.

If people want to get them, they would have to contact the school.

Now, legally, the school does not have to post them to a website.

I mean, this is, talk about intimidation and using the statement, threatening your children, basically.

Yes, I think that Lori Yates' situation was terrible.

I can say that, oh, I can tell you an update in the HWDSB.

I attended a parental involvement committee yesterday.
