And in Over-the-Rhine, there is a, uh, Zeigler Park, um, uh, that honors him.

Also a memorial hall, which is, is a great place to visit if you wanna see a lot of, uh, m- memorials to, uh, soldiers, uh, from our area.

It was founded to, uh, salute soldiers, uh, i- in Hamilton County.

It's an, that's a great facility.

I spent last weekend at the Sendependent Film Festival held here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The event was held at the historic Memorial Hall located in the Over-the-Rhine District.

Sendependent has been hosting this festival since 2019 and has grown from a small event to a massive three-day festival that showcases films from around the world and has gained recognition as one of the best film festivals in the country.

This year, Sendependent merged with the Over the Rhine International Film Festival and LADD to help showcase how inclusive and representative the festival and film can be.

I am beyond grateful that she and the Sendependent board were gracious enough to let this lone film fan with a digital recorder who hosts a small movie review podcast to return and go so far as saving me space during their red carpet events to record some great little short interviews with everyone from local community, Sendependent volunteers and board members, and of course, filmmakers.

I spoke with producers, writers, actors, and musicians.

So let's start with the interviews from the first night at Memorial Hall.
