Hamd

What an honor.

Um, for those of the listeners who maybe are just catching up on the previous episodes, we've, um, focused on the names of Hamd, of praise, of Muhammad, of Ahmad sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

Right.

We're gonna continue, uh, going through some other names, uh, inshallah today.

So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala starts with tawheed al-uluhiyya, the tawheed of worship, and that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the only one that deserves to be worshipped.

الحمد لله I thank you, and I praise you, ya Allah.

And الحمد is to praise the one that you are praising.

The one that deserves praise.

The one that deserves all forms of praise.

In any case, they agreed that it was, his name would be Muhammad.

From Hamd, praise.

So it's interesting, it's the name doesn't just mean someone who's praised once, but one who is repeatedly and abundantly praised, praised in the heavens and the earth, Muhammad .

And before revelation, his people would praise him.
