What do you believe about the incarnation? Who's the Holy Spirit? What is the work of the Holy Spirit? What do you believe that to be? When is man guilty of sin? Is he guilty of sin at conception? Or is he guilty of sin after he is born and commits a sin? That can tell you a lot about their hamartiology.

Hamartiology is the study of sin.

Tell them to explain the atonement.

What is their view of atonement? What sort of understanding do they have of the atonement of Jesus Christ? Are they going to give you a bunch of stuff that is going to sound like they're anti-penal substitutionary atonement? Tell them to explain to you salvation.
