You've left the Halliwell Manor, uh, behind many years ago, as so many did, but what is keeping you busy now, sir?

Well, it's nowhere near as exciting, honestly.

At its core, Charmed is about three sisters who discover that they're descendants of a long line of good witches.

They inherit the Halliwell Manor, discover the Book of Shadows, and eventually learn that together they are the legendary Charmed Ones, three witches whose combined power is greater than any other force of good magic.

But, and this is important to how I remember the show, the premise wasn't simply three hot witches fight a demon every week, at least not originally.

The heart of Charmed was the sisters.
