no it what happens to those technologies which was meant to be india's male uav has not emerged in the form that we wanted it to and on the timelines expected yeah and the timelines are crazy i've read out the timelines i mean it's actually started in the 80s okay fine forget that but from 2009 to 2026 there are cag statements which are available the armed forces have gone and failed them so who is i mean so if somebody says that oh you know we now have this great capability available to us which will also see components built in India, and in the case of the mail, will be built in India by and large, then what's anybody's problem? I mean, we keep harping on, you know, why don't we have Tejas Mark II instead of Rafale? I mean, the fact of the matter is so many components of Tejas are not Indian.

And yet we believe it is Indian because it gives us the heart of the damn thing.

Astra Mark 1 is the missile which is now replacing the old Russian R-77 on Sukhoi 30 MKIs.

Ultimately, it will go, it will go onto Tejas aircraft, it'll go onto MiG-29s, and on Jaguars also.

Everything except the Mirages and the Rafales, because there you will have the software matching issue.

So Astra Mark 1 is one that, that has come up as a result of these abilities and this infrastructure.

And what I liked especially, and we'll put some bits of your thread out on our screen as well, is the incredible amount of detail into which you went to talk about the timeline and bust some myths over what can only be called a a continuing kind of blame game in many ways as to what happened, who is responsible, who killed things, you know, who should take the blame for where things are at right now.

But until we figure out what's going wrong and how we approach development and production, Until we get that right, this ASA stuff will keep coming up.
