Haitang District

There is a equestrian center in Sanya called Haitang Equestrian.

It's located inside the Sanya Rice National Park in Haitang District.

It opened on January 15th, 2026, and it is described as Hainan's very first curated equestrian complex.

And this one is built around a very specific design idea.

And when operational

details stand out, the project went from planning and construction to opening night in about three months.

reports credit that pays to coordination between the Sanya and Haitang district governments and tourism authorities who helped with permit, construction and performing licensing.

So that's Haitang Equestrian, a rice field theatre with 50 seahorses and a 2,800 seats nighttime venue and a daytime riding experiences all in one site.
