And you noticed it, of course.
Mitch MossHOST
34:57
I do use a little bit of hair product.
Mitch MossHOST
34:59
Okay.
Mitch MossHOST
34:59
Not a lot.
Mitch MossHOST
35:09
Yeah.
Mitch MossHOST
35:10
So she goes, well, we have a two-year-old at home.
Mitch MossHOST
35:12
She goes, you can use Sebastian's hair product.
Mitch MossHOST

And I don't, I've never used it before.

And a perfect example of this is this viral video that a lot of people are making videos about of a woman going into a CVS and saying that the CVS locking up certain items and those items happening to be black hair care products, specifically products marketed towards black women, is actually giving, which in TikTok speak means that this is what it's portraying, a little bit of racism or a lot of bit of racism.
Sean FitzgeraldHOST
1:02
And she finds this to be absolutely reprehensible and disgusting and really genuinely is upset about the fact that these hair products for people with curly hair, for people with non-traditionally white hair, are truly genuinely just less accessible due to the fact that, again, they are locked up at the CVS.
Sean FitzgeraldHOST
1:20
And what this woman wants is some form of equity.
Sean FitzgeraldHOST
1:23
She wants the white hair care products locked up or the black ones to not be locked up because what we need to see is equality among hair products at CVS but funnily enough this ends up inadvertently proving the opposite of her point because what these companies do and we've talked about this before on this channel when determining what products get locked up versus what products are out on display is they look at the data they look at the products that are going missing at higher rates due to retail theft and guess what That is what makes the determination.
Sean FitzgeraldHOST
1:53
So in reality, what we're seeing right here is somebody arguing that the data is racist, the data is terrible, and that is a reality that this woman absolutely does not want to face.
Sean FitzgeraldHOST
2:03
And this is what we're going to talk about today.

So to be clear to everybody, when you go to a CVS or a Walgreens or any of these stores and certain items are locked up, that is not being done just by happenstance.
Sean FitzgeraldHOST
10:49
That is not being done just for the fun and the love of the game.
Jeff WittekHOST
46:03
I want some crumbs.
Jeff WittekHOST
46:04
All right, look, I want to talk about why I'm not rich as rich as I should be because I should be printing fucking money and these motherfuckers in India are taking my face and selling hair products and it's pissing me off.
Jeff WittekHOST
46:15

Jeff WittekHOST
