I mean, it's so horrible.

I've certified Never Skip.

We've talked about this a lot on Red Morgan, but she underutilizes her collaborators so often.

And I could have used way more Haim in this song.

Like, I don't, where are they? Aside from the little, like, cocky bits.

But it was like, okay, well— This is how we're going to try and do this? No, no, this is not going to work.

And that's why, like, the expectations, what they said early on, I'm glad it's why Haim came out and said early on, hey, this is a rebuild, right? We're going to plan more for the future than we are for the current roster.

Now, I think that plan should change a little bit when you get in season.

If they were, you know, in a playoff spot and were looking like buyers, they ultimately weren't.

So Haim made the right call.

That's what's so important for, say, these expectations.

I think even expanding on this conversation, if you added Wilson Contreras this year to this roster with Sonny Gray and what he's been doing, I still don't think they're a playoff team.

And it makes you think, like, oh wow, like this album that was made, you know, 13 years ago is, like, still inspiring, like, the alternative rock landscape today.

Like, I think so much of this album, you know, inspired Haim's music, inspired, like...

I get a lot of, like, Phoebe Bridgers inspiration from this.

Mm.

That's why the speed with which this album was created was crazy.

I love the production here.

Um, Ariel has always been, like, one of my favorite producers because of his work with Haim and his work on the Vampire Weekend album Modern Vampires of the City, which is one of my all-time favorite albums.

I know, crazy that I would love an album made only by men, but it- that has always been one of my favorite albums.

storytelling um And it's all, it's all women.

I mean, I was going to say Haim.

They go more towards a melody for sure.

And I think because they are, they're musicians and still like their writing is, is still so interesting.

And I'm inspired by how I would say less so Taylor Swift, but Haim and Phoebe, like you don't even always know what they're talking about.
