Hello everybody and welcome into another episode of the Portland Seadogs podcast.

I'm here with special guest acting manager, Kyle Cisela and Kyle.

We still will unpack the acting manager title and how we got to that point, but a lot of people don't understand and don't realize your path to baseball and what you were doing while also coaching on the side.

Can you talk a little bit about your background and what led you to the Red Sox and the Seadogs in particular?

Yeah, it's definitely an interesting background that got me here.

Before I came to the Red Sox organization, I was working two jobs.

Uh, you know, a lot of guys come up from Greenville and, and t- talk really highly about Greenville, but Portland's a little bit more unique.

Um, and what is, what's your first impressions first couple weeks now playing at, at Hadlock Field?

Yeah, I, I've loved it.

Um, I, I've really enjoyed Portland as a town, and I've enjoyed playing in front of those fans.

Lovey, can you believe that folderol on the Genghis Car Show yesterday? Firstly, he said the Red Stockings need more pitchers named Howie.

What, so they can bounce the first pitch at Haddock Field? Ha.

Secondly, he dragged me into that Tennessee execution mess.

Everyone knows that lethal injection was a botched poke.

You didn't disappoint.

He did 15 home runs in Portland at Hadlock Field.

Do you remember Batman Begins when they put that weird smoke into the entire city and everyone just went crazy? That's what's happened today, and the show's been better for it.

Yeah, I mean, he could go to, what, a Sea Dogs game, grab a dog-

Even if he catches a Sea Dogs game with the pitch clock now, that's only, like, three hours.

[laughs] Yeah, that's a good point.

So...

Whoa.

And I was like, "Holy shit." Well, he just got called up, like, a month ago, so he's, like, younger than us, but-

Was he on the Portland Sea Dogs?

Sure.

I gotta tell you, um, my husband and I were sitting right behind home plate on, uh, Saturday, and Saturday was a really big deal at Hadlock Field.

I don't know whether or not you guys have ever been there for a real game.

Well, what kind of conces- what kind of concessions do they have there? Well, can we at least hear the story? What kind of concessions do they have there? [laughs] They got the Seabiscuit.
