Hackensack High School

You're going to learn to fly the American flag, but still have your heritage.

And Hackensack was just a place that, Hackensack High School where I went to was just a melting pot of people.

So for me, not only was I proud to be from New Jersey, it was a great place to grow up.

But when I went off into the military, it just made my life much, much more easier than people who are not like exposed to different nationalities or different types of people.

But there was about 13 of us and I wanted to expand.

And I ended up going abroad.

uh, to Hackensack high school.

And, uh, you know, my dad wanted me to be a doctor.

Hmm.

So I was in every grade level, kindergarten all the way through college, and I worked with some tough kids, like kids in gangs in northern New Jersey at Hackensack High School, the Crips, and they were in the Crips and the Bloods.

You know, and they had a family dynamic that they didn't wanna be at home.

You know, there was either alcoholic parents or a lot of fighting, or they weren't heard in their homes, so they joined the gang to feel important.
