Habit, like Martin before it, plays into this idea of, is it all in your head? Like, is the guy dating a vampire? Or is it just some kinky girl who's getting to him and he's getting too close? And then Martin, is this person a vampire? Or is it just in his head that he's a vampire? And skirting that line between the reality and the fantasy.

Yeah.

I feel like Martin really embodied that loneliness as well because that was kind of what made, dare I say, Martin hot.

How did you get involved with that?

So I really, again, like, I will mention, so Habit, Larry Fessenden's first feature-length movie that I don't even remember exactly how I heard about it.

It might have been, like, a quote.

I like Guillermo del Toro as well, obviously.

Uh, Larry Fessenden, big, uh, sort of low budget horror guy.

Uh, so obviously I don't think it was his feature, but, like, really burst onto the scene with, uh, 1995's Habit, which is, like, one of the best vampire movies of all time, sort of, you know, uh, suburban melancholy with fucking, like, heroin addiction mixed in.

Incredible ton of mythology, and he's like, h- he's got hi- his own massive career, uh, like Wendigo in 2001.

Uh, and he also, like, supports every up-and-coming, like, filmmaker by being in the movie.

... yeah.

So yeah, i- if you love a werewolf film, which, who doesn't, this is, like, really, I think, like, really top class for especially, like, you know, just how, like, smart it is, like Larry Fessenden, just, like, a man who's been doing this shit forever being really good at it.

Uh, and definitely check out, like, Habit if you haven't as well for a great, uh, vampire film.
