You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue.

David and the 600 men with them came to Besor Valley, where some stayed behind.

200 of them were too exhausted to cross the valley, but David and the other 400 continued to pursue.

Verse 17, David fought them from dusk until the evening of the next day.

Faith completely believes absolutely no loss safely surrendered totally to God is ever beyond his massive redemptive reach.

David joyfully returns safely to the two hundred totally exhausted men quietly at Besor.

Conflict quickly appears.

Some fierce men argue they should absolutely receive no share of the massive spoil.

They were like corpse from walking after David.

So he caused them to dwell in this riverbed called Besor, which relates to good news.

And it says here that they went out to meet David.

And it says to meet the people which were with him, meaning with David.

Look again at our text, verse nine, and David went, he, and the 600 men which were with him.

And they came unto, notice this, Nachal, which is a brook of Besor.

Now, why is that important? Well, when I see the name of that brook, it means something to me.

Because if you want to say the gospel in Hebrew, you say, Ha Besorah.

Here we have the same root, the word besor.

What is besor? It is good news.

David, he inquired of the Lord and notice he was told to pursue, that he will overcome and that he will utterly overcome.

bring about a deliverance, a rescue for these individuals.
