H.P. Mendoza

So it is Filipino American History Month.

And so because of that, they are showing a lot more content online and HP Mendoza, the Bay Area's own HP Mendoza channel.

He is an independent filmmaker, like our boy Mike, who has really come to the attention of a lot of critics, won a lot of awards from festivals and other indie kind of, in the indie circuit, just because he's been making films on his own, starting in the Bay Area, really just with like a very, starting with a very low budget.

He recently did a bigger project with the studio, but he started back in the day, just kind of doing his own thing, The thing about HP is, you know, he writes, he directs, he produces, and he's also, if you listen to his scores, he's a musician.
