Yes, again, because this is Rosebud, and we like to introduce you to people whose faces and names may be familiar, but about whom you don't know maybe as much as you would like.

Well, the person I'm introducing today is one of my favorite people.

He's a little bit English, yes.

I'm Gyles Brandreth, and I'm, as ever, with my producer, who always joins me on a Tuesday.

How are you today, Harriet?

... feel really comfortable, a little dosette-

[laughs]

Exactly.

Because I on- I once...

On a similar kind of vibe, I once met Gyles Brandreth-

Mm, yeah

...

But obviously the older they are, the more trained they are.

You know, like Gyles Brandreth comes on.

Yeah.

He's so trained from his after-dinner speaking, his years as a politician, everything else.

He wrote Kenneth Williams', uh, first book, Acid Drops.

Um, he's, I mean, he's a polymath anyway.

He can do anything, Gyles Brandreth.

He really, really can.

A lot of lunch parties.

And we have Gyles Brandreth, you know-

[laughs]

... doing all the stuff like that.

Anything else?

Well, I saw comedy, Gyles Brandreth.

I mean, you went, these are very British, uh, uh, the good comedian Josh Byrne.

Some lovely-

Yeah.

[laughs]

But I'm just mentioning Gyles Brandreth, which for me, no, and it was a goodie.

We did it with his podcast producer, and she was, it was very interesting, and just the sort of tellings tales and w- and what childhood means, your first childhood memories, treasure them and treasure positive things.
