And for people that may not be familiar with that, that aircraft, it's a, uh, an old radial engine, twin engine Beech that was a taildragger with two vertical stabilizers, and it was really a classic in its day.

And the pilot of this aircraft, November 2-10 Quebec, died at about 1608 local time on August the 2nd of this year when the aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff from Runway 1-8 at Guymon, Oklahoma.

The weather was good VFR with light southeast winds.

Witnesses reported that after departing runway 1-8, the airplane was observed making a left turn, and the pilot announced on the CTAF frequency that he was departing to the east.

The aircraft was refueled with 175 gallons and departed just over an hour later, which of course was technically August the 2nd.

The airplane landed about three hours later at Farmington, New Mexico, and was again refueled.

After an eight and a half hour break, the airplane departed Farmington about 1258 local for Guymon Municipal in, of course, in Guymon, Oklahoma, and the airplane landed there a little over two hours later.

Now, the pilot held a commercial certificate with ratings for airplane single-engine land, airplane single-engine sea, airplane multi-engine land, and airplane multi-engine sea, a BE1900 type rating, and a total flight experience of just over 12,000 hours.
