Guy Scott

to China.

There was a great Zambian politician, a guy named Guy Scott, who said, he said, we've had bad people before.

The whites were bad, the Indians were worse, but the Chinese are the worst of all when it comes to actually their economic interactions, their trade interactions.

And I think that captures it.

Then, on October 28, 2014, Zambia's fifth president, Michael Chilufyasata, died while in office at King Edward VII Hospital in London.

His death led to a period of national mourning, followed by an interim presidency under Guy Scott.

And finally, we have October 2015, when President Edgar Lungu declared October 18th as a public day for the National Day of Prayer and Fasting, Repentance and Reconciliation.

So, when we look at October in Zambia, it's more than just a month of Independence Day.
