Guy Mintus

And so actually the first place we, I performed that band was just directly in India, um, as opposed to here.

And, um- Had some amazing musicians on that tour with me, um, uh, Guy Mintus being one of them, and he was kind of the chief arranger for a lot of the compositions.

He's, um, an Israeli pianist, but who's also trained in, like, maqam, you know, modal music and, uh, and, um, and jazz at Manhattan School of Music.

And so, um, kind of met him through the music scene in New York, and we had a successful tour in India, and all these people were like, "You know, when's your next concert? Do you have an album?" And I was like, "Oh man, I need to get on top of this," like [both laugh].
