I was an assistant coach for five or six years and when Brendan Sanderson got the sack that same year, five coaches out of whatever it was back then, five out of 18 changed in one season.

And I think Matthew Primus, Brendan McCartney, And then there was Guy McKenna, Brendan Sanderson, and there's probably one other in there as well.

And for some of them, you know, if you think about Matty Primus, he was probably an assistant 4A length of time and then you get two years at it and then bang, you're on the scrap heap and what Brendan Sanderson might have had Three years, potentially.

So it is fleeting.

The amount of people that came through the Collingwood Footy Club in those days was just phenomenal.
