And Guy shared this morning on this radio station his thoughts one year after Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Utah.

Well, I think Turning Point USA and what he built there, political organization and movement, obviously is still going very strong.

It's, it's a behemoth.

Uh, his, his widow is now running it, but along with a lot of other people who grew up there really with Charlie.

That is enduring in a very major way.

I also think...

And people still go back and, and watch a lot of his videos and how he engaged with people, and the, the debates and the challenges and the, the campus tours where, you know, we'd sit there and, and talk to people, and, uh, even be v- very polite to people who were not being polite to him.

Mm-hmm.

It doesn't feel like that much time has passed, and I think I'm gonna have a similar feeling tomorrow on the 25-year anniversary of 9/11 to have these two back to back.

There's, there's a common thread here, which is both attacks were attacks not just on the victims, which of course they were, and that matters a lot, but also on our values as a country, right? That speaks for itself tomorrow, but it also, I think, needs to be highlighted today because Charlie was murdered in cold blood for his political speech during his political speech, and we are a country built on free expression and speech.

If we lose that, we lose everything.

And to assassinate someone because you dislike what they say, especially with the symbolism of killing them while they're saying it, that is an assault on so much of what we hold dear as a society, on top of robbing a wife of her husband, robbing young children of their father, robbing an organization and a movement of its leader.

Those are all profound evils.

But I think the reason why, even if you never knew Charlie, I knew Charlie a little bit.

Yeah.

How about you, Guy?

Yeah.

No, I think it's very real, and it's funny, sometimes you need a, an outsider, or in this case thousands and thousands of them, to remind you exactly what you've got and to reinforce, I think, American exceptionalism, gratitude, and those types of things.

And, you know, I didn't necessarily have it on the old, you know, 250th bingo card that one of the most patriotic things that would happen all year would be a bunch of foreigners coming here for soccer doing the trick, and yet that seems to be exactly what's happening.

And it comes at, I, I think, a perfect time.

I think it's absolutely flooding, and this is key, Pete, as you know, it is flooding social media.

And so you are getting, uh, young people, whether they were seeking it out or not, it's, it's just so viral.

Uh, it's probably too early to tell, but as you sit here today, how do you analyze where we're at right now with this deal and what it means going forward?

But what do you think?

I think it's absolute nonsense.

I think actually you can have any number of criticisms of Netanyahu.

I've met him a few times.

I don't have any particular personal loyalty to him as a foreign leader.

You know, among many things, you can say October 7th happened on his watch, right? What a failure.

On the other hand, you look at what Israel had in the pipeline, the unbelievable intelligence and military successes since then, and a major turnaround in a lot of ways, this sort of unlikely but emerging alliance with gulf arab states i mean there's there's plenty to discuss on both sides of that ledger that's not my area of expertise it's not my job to tell israelis what to think or how to vote obviously i'm not nearly as informed as as you guys are over there it's your country it's your democracy but Here, I think the Netanyahu excuse is one that is used as a cop-out for a lot of quasi-pro-Democrat or pro-Israel Democrats who want to remain kind of pro-Israel, but they understand that their ravenous base hates Israel.

And I don't understand, do you have any explanation for, to why people suddenly, it seems very sudden for not for everyone, but for some of them, what's going on in your opinion?

Yeah.

Um, yeah.

I was noticing how... or in our group we were to some extent noticing how there are certain things that we're already doing that maybe we wanna double down on.

Mm-hmm.

Um, and was just like, oh, I really wanna, like, learn about this more and practice it more, and just invited a bunch of people to kind of join me on that journey.

And yeah, feels like a beautiful way to come together and go on a journey together.

It is an unforgivable price to pay for whatever has led this country to not value citizenship and presen- presence in the United States of America.

So, um, several things to say.

I wanna quickly talk about Stephanie Minter, 'cause that's right down the road from where I live in Fairfax County, Virginia.

This woman was exactly my age.

Uh, she was at a bus stop, and this guy stabbed her in the neck until she bled out and died.

Um, that accused killer, an illegal immigrant, had f- previously 40 criminal charges against him, including rape.

Okay? This guy had a string of crimes, including violent crimes, some of the most violent of those crimes.

That's who matters most, says Chris Murphy.

They're struggling to make ends meet.

Uh, it's interesting because for years, I think you could have accurately described me as a squish on immigration.

It's like, oh, you know, maybe some path to legal status and the dreamers and all that.

Let's be reasonable.

And what we saw over four years of the previous administration radicalized me, and now watching what they are doing to federal law enforcement as they try to help clean up the mess that was created by these people, has radicalized me further.

So that, coupled with the other bugaboo of, in your home state, sadly, this massive fraud, where you have people robbing taxpayers blind, and people in America work really hard to earn their money.

Some of it is confiscated by the government.

Yeah.

Not if the Lincoln is on its way there.

Yeah, and, uh, look, I'm so upset and disgusted by the regime murdering people.

It's what they do, right? It is a murderous, theocratic, totalitarian, terrorist regime.

That's what we've been dealing with for decades in Iran.

They have tons of American blood on their hands, and I am rooting so hard for the people of Iran.

I do think Trump sending those messages, "Help is on the way," emboldened the street protests, and at least for now, it looks like there's been this absolutely horrific, deadly crackdown.

Trump had two, uh, red lines, right? And one was, "You can't massacre the protesters," and the other one was, "Now you've paused the executions, you can't be executing these people." There are now reports coming out of Iran that they are executing at least some of those people, and then lying about the nature of it....

Mm-hmm.

What's on your mind?

There is a certain type of immigrant who gets, like, this generational life lottery ticket to come to the United States and to build a life here, and yet they seem to devote themselves to whining and griping about all the sins of this country and all of our flaws, real and made up, criticizing us, talking about all the racism and systemic whatever.

It's like, look at what you've been saved from.

I think gratitude as the overwhelming factor is in order.

Not saying you can't have opinions, you can't be critical in any way, can't strive to improve our society or whatever, can't run for office.

I'm not saying that, but I feel like just an overwhelming love of the country and gratitude to be here should be leading the way, and that is not the case.

Eric Holder was Attorney General of the United States under Barack Obama.

He is not a fringe character.

He is very much an establishment Democrat actually in a lot of ways, and he is going on podcasts and he is telling audiences on the left that something that the Democrats will need to do if and when they get back into power is to blow up the filibuster in the Senate and at the very least, engage in Supreme Court, quote, unquote, reform.

So he's not hiding the ball, Holder isn't.

Have week, two, three weeks, that kinda thing.

I mean, th- that's, uh, the Chauncey Billups being involved in the poker and not the sports betting, that they're related but separate, that's gotta be a sigh of relief for, for people in the NBA that at least a head coach-

Karine Jean-Pierre is trying to sell the American people a book in which she says that she saw no decline in Joe Biden, or no serious decline.

She's like, "Oh, look, he was getting a little older.

Fine." Th- this is the lie that they told us that whole time until they had to pull the plug.

But the obvious cognitive decline of Joe Biden is something she did not witness or notice until the opening sentences of the debate performance in June of 2024 that sealed his fate.

Are you kidding me? I mean, who does she think she's fooling? No one believes this.

Oh, you think? Yeah.

... of dollars? I mean, but that's the other thing.

The more the Israelis try to bring food into the Gaza Strip through various ways, the more Hamas says, "No, not good enough.

Not that way.

Can't be that way.

Can't be that way.

Has to be the only way that we approve of." And then the United Nations and the Europeans and a lot of Democrats all line up and say, "Yes.
