Guy Barker

Wow

... 'cause he was good friends with Dexter Gordon.

[laughs]

Bruce was a great, great hero of the music.

It's like-

Not sitting with your wife going, listening to records and just going, "Oh, that one would be good," and...

You know, I, I, I just really love music, and, and I have my constellation of things that friends have, have plugged me into.

Um, my, my dear friend, you know, who was the angel at the top of the form who said, "Will this cover it?"

She won it, but just to do a quick rundown of who else was nominated that year.

Uh, Guy Barker, uh, The Bees, David Bowie, The, The Coral, Doves, The Electric Soft Parade, Gemma Hayes, Beverly Knight, Roots Manuva, Joanna McGregor, and The Streets.

And, uh, we're gonna cover, of those, we're gonna cover, uh, we covered the Roots Manuva album.

Uh, I don't think we've covered that, that specific Streets album yet.
