Was it a hostile takeover?

Which orchestra did he come from? Was it the Berlin Philharmonic, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, or the Los Angeles Philharmonic?

And this is by the spectacular Spanish violinist Maria Dueñas.

And she's accompanied here by the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel.

So he's quite a passionate conductor himself.

It's a pretty long movement.

There's a lot of room sound on the violin, you might have noticed, but it jumps out of the recording with presence and energy nonetheless.

The booklet notes go on about how Duenas wanted Gustavo Dudamel to record due to his passion, and yeah, he's got a lot of that.

The orchestra, which I believe is a youth orchestra, but I'm not sure, sounds deeply passionate, as does Duenas herself.

Negron wrote a new concerto, Mondillo, for him, inspired by his personality.

It included a moment in which he and the conductor, Gustavo Dudamel, sat together and played music boxes while the audience let out a collective awe.
