When their singer, Gustavo Cerati, went solo in the 90s, he defined everything.

He was kind of like the Paul McCartney of the group and then went solo and then took over that as well.

And it's funny.

He also played during the Woodstock set and also on the first three classic albums of theirs.

Gustavo Cerati passed away in 2014 at the age of 55 from respiratory arrest after spending four years in a coma following a stroke.

The Latin rock icon was the frontman, guitarist, and songwriter for Soda Stereo, one of the most influential and important bands in the history of Spanish language rock.

Rico Rodriguez passed away in 2015 at the age of 80 in a London hospital after a short illness.
