He also said on Fox News that he had been a member of the Communist Party, that he'd voted for Gus Hall, a communist, in 1976, I gather.

And my question is, because, you know, I know having gone through top secret clearances, having had to be vetted by the FBI and the CIA on different issues, I would have thought that if that had been something that you had voted for a communist and he didn't lie about it, he admitted that he had voted for Gus Hall.

would have raised a lot of concerns.
