Okay so it's the end console routing instance and then I always make sure as I said that that's always you know set to so it's hitting the zero vu at the kind of the loudest parts and then from there it is normally gulfos master not gulfos gulfos master and I don't know man that was just something that I got from our old mastering engineer Marcel he was using it on every master he did for us

and then I was like because again Gullfoss

I wasn't too enamoured with the standard Gullfoss but when I went to the master it was just it just does something when I AB it on and off I always find that it sounds just slightly better and it's not completely again you could fucking like do it it's like doing crazy processing but I normally have it 5 and 5 I'm pretty sure that's all it is, five and five, because that's normally how my developers tell you to set it.

And it just seems to be from there, and I put it on, and I bypass it A and B, and I just mix through that.

So again, the decisions that I make are always going into that processing.

So number one, I've already mentioned in the prior episode, it's a really quick stop at the Brew Horse Farm.

It's between Geysir and Gullfoss.

It's a really quick stop to see some really friendly, adorable Icelandic horses.

So if you want to interact with some Icelandic horses without actually riding them, that is the perfect place to do that.

So that's it for the detours or additions to your golden circle route.

Which ones did we add to our itinerary? We added Secret Lagoon and Carrot Crater to our day when we visited the Golden Circle during our first trip.

We really wanted to visit the tomato farm, but by the time we were done with Gullfoss, it was already four o'clock and the wine bar was not yet open, was not yet in existence.

So we decided we're just going to have to come back, which we did.

Thingvellir National Park, one of three national parks in Iceland and the first one established in the country.

Geysir Geothermal Area or Geysir Hot Springs as it's sometimes called and Gullfoss Waterfall.

Why is it called the Golden Circle? The route gets its name from the Gulfos Waterfall, that it's also sometimes called the Golden Waterfall.

And it's a circle because if you start the route in Reykjavik, you can drive to all three main attractions and back to the city in one big loop without backtracking.

So how long do you need? It all depends on how long you're going to stay and watch.

i would say 30 to 45 minutes is a safe bet unless you're doing the hike then i would add another hour because it takes about 20 minutes each way to hike and then just add any time that you think you may spend getting food and souvenirs at the geyser center So that's how much time it would typically take to visit the Geysir Hot Springs area.

And then moving on to stop number three, Gullfoss Waterfall.

That's only a 10 minute drive from the Geysir Hot Springs.
