Gulfstream V

I'm like, "Yes!" You know? And, and a couple adjectives thrown in there, and a lot of F-bombs.

And my kids, my kids were young, so they, you know, "Dad, you shouldn't be talking like that." [laughs] That night he was captured, I tried to get a, a government aircraft out that night, and the Gulfstream V wasn't available.

It was at, in the Mid East at the time.

And we had two Department of Justice owned aircraft, um, to transport, you know, both people and evidence if need be.

That, that, that's such a routine thing to do.

And, you know, and he f- he bit hook, line and sinker on it.

And, um, and but, you know, to just set it up, the, when, when we got into the plane, when he was brought, I was there at the G- so we flew him home on a very comfortable G5, Gulfstream V aircraft.

It probably sits about 10 comfortable, but it could seat up to f- you know, 15, 20 people.

I tried to get a government aircraft out that night.

And the Gulfstream 5 wasn't available.

It was in the Mideast at the time.

So we flew him home on a very comfortable G5, Gulfstream 5 aircraft.

It probably sits about... 10 comfortable but it could seat up to you know 15 20 people and leather seating very very you know very nicely done 40 million dollar aircraft and um i had flown on it with the director when i was assigned to the executive protection side of things in washington dc after my time in in um in connecticut and i was so i was i was intimately familiar with that airplane and i wanted that airplane to debrief him and Just like Bob had said, my intent was to record that interview.
