Guitar Pro

Yeah.

I saw, uh, an interview with him where he was talking about, like, when he was in, uh, early high school, um, and he would be like have these music programs, uh, like Guitar Pro and Fruity Loops and stuff, and he was, like, not as experienced, uh, at all with composition, and that was a challenge.

And so he was just like, "I went to OC Remix and, you know, remixed something from Final Fantasy, and that gives me a chance to play and learn and get really comfortable with the software without the pressure of actually, like, having compositions that are judged as well." Um-

[laughs]

And you can get this bass line off of the internet.

You could get the original bass line, and then you could transpose it yourself, or you could put it into Guitar Pro, and you can transpose it down a whole step.

So here we go.

One, two, three.

So to do that all in your head, at least for me, is very difficult.

I write it out.

I like to use Guitar Pro.

I can put the melody as voice one, then I can write out the bass line as voice two, and then you can just see how they sit over each other, how they sit combined.

So that I would have a reference for the crazy parts later.

And then I did put it all, uh, into, like, Guitar Pro software and hooked up with this, this great company called Sheet Happens Publishing, and they put out-

Oh, great name.

Yeah.

Um, they...

I'm not...

No, they use Guitar Pro as their main thing.

Okay.
