GH5 is weird, drums-wise, for the lore heads out there that really want to know this deep shit.

When Guitar Hero 5 came out, they never patched it.

They fixed it for Band Hero.

But there was a glitch where if there was a song that had Expert Plus, the Expert version of that chart was harder to FC because it was somehow incorrectly parsing kicks or something along those lines so that you had to hit the kicks late.

Yeah, that was a point of contention, though.

I've seen, like, Score Hero threads, like, how it's fixed on Band Hero.

They knew that there was an issue, but they never ported that fix back to Guitar Hero 5, like, the, quote, main game.

So, like, well, what the fuck's that supposed to be? They're still supporting this game for a year with DLC, but it's a worse experience than Band Hero.

They have a full band set, but you can tell.

The pathways, the guitar frets and stuff, it doesn't look like it has the investment that a Guitar Hero 5 and a Rock Band

does.
