At the end of September, over 200 guinea pigs and their owners will descend on Taupo for the 2026 New Zealand National Guinea Pig Show.

They'll be graded by an international judging panel flying in from England and the Czech Republic.

And Andy Laurie is president of the New Zealand Cavey Council.

He's entering 21 of his own guinea pigs.
