cannot not... be excited for a Laika movie Laika they work very slowly because they are still a very small kind of independent studio but they have done such a remarkable work through during the years because they they've done box trolls they've done Kubo and the Two Strings now they have Wildwood which to be fair I've heard about i've heard like he has some oscar kind of high yeah yeah high you know like it's gonna go to the oscars and they are the guys yeah exactly they're the guys of coralline and they're the guys of paranormal missing link like they've done some pretty remarkable movies and they're very slow because it takes a long time they work with stop motion for most of their movies and stop motion is a process that takes years years and years but like I'm searching I think to give you an idea um everyone knows like the stop motion that everyone knows is Nightmare Before Christmas and it took to make it I think three and a half years there you go so this gives you and that was produced by Disney who was a massive studio so obviously they put some resources so this is why it takes so long for them to put out a new movie like it's sometimes five years between a movie and another because stop motion requires so much time and so i'm definitely gonna watch this movie because they are masters and also you know that i don't think that a movie entirely in stop motion has ever won an oscar unless guillermo del toro managed to do that with pinocchio Am I

Like, the, the movie that I worked on with my, where I got my award, the "Pinocchio" movie with Del Toro, that whole film is animated feature, and one of the things that I spent a lot of time doing is replicating foam latex appliances, because everything was sculpted, painted with acrylics, painted with oil paints, uh, carved foam.
