I have not seen it.

I have seen it I think it is maybe the most successful of all of the film adaptations of Frankenstein but I think it's also strictly because it is adapting it more to a filmic format in my mind I think that I think that some of the changes they made, especially to Frankenstein's intentions and how those interplay with his familial relationships and then the creation of the monster, That I don't care for as much if we're talking about from a straight adaptation of the actual book.

But in terms of a visual filmic interpretation of that book, I think it's been the most successful of any of them.

And I think that part of that comes from the passion that Del Toro very clearly has for the source material.
