Gui Santos

I guess the, they're, they're in talks with Steph right now, but nothing has happened yet, so all these guys are going to be unrestricted free agent, which means I don't have to think about them.

The only players I have to think about, Kristaps Porzingis, Moses Moody, Al Horford, Jax, De'Anthony Melton, Podziemski, Gui Santos, Will Richard.

For me, this was pretty easy.

I decided to unprotect De'Anthony Melton.

But, like, The inability to incorporate a lot of the young guys, like sure there's Moses Moody, and that's kind of it.

I mean, I know that there's Guy Santos and players like that around that roster, but I think there is a real criticism, a fair one, that says that like it's he doesn't do a great job bringing along the young guys the young players and assimilating them with the current roster I don't know that's just again you know I don't cover the team but that is outside looking in and I think that's a pretty common refrain when when you talk to people who might criticize Steve Kerr as a coach uh number four Tyron Lue just an unbelievably versatile coach who can game plan with the best of them and is a great players coach.

He is kind of the whole package.

He's everything that you're looking for in a coach.

D'Anthony Melton can't stay healthy.

How much do you trust Guy Santos to play or Yaxa Lindenborg, who I like as well and I think should be rising up draft boards.

But look, man, I'm going to keep drafting pods because his game is actually very fantasy friendly for both points leagues and category leagues, mostly category leagues.

But you're just looking for a potential, you know, what if Steph Curry misses 30 games, which would not be crazy.

Those are my starting five.

And then when you move a little bit forward, you talk Brandon Williams replacing Steph Curry, Brandon Podziemski replacing D'Anthony Melton, Gui Santos would replace Jaxson Lindborg.

Let's say George Niang replaces Draymond, get a little shooting in there, and Al Horford replaces Kristaps Porziņģis.

Probably likely that Charles Bassey is the last man off the bench at this point, him or one of the two-way guys that are gonna be up there inevitably at some point this season.

It was probably garbage time.

And there were moments where he was starting earlier in the year.

There were moments where Gui Santos was getting one minute to begin the season, and by the end of the year he was getting 30 minutes.

There wasn't a ton of rhyme or reasons.

And to your point, maybe it's the younger guys that can help change that equation a little bit.

Maybe Yaxil being ahead of the curve, maybe Podziemski taking a step forward, uh, Guy Santos-

Mm-hmm

... maybe taking another leap to become a more consistent player.

He can create.

He's got to get better at the three ball, but he can create for you.

And then you add in the d- defensive, uh, Will Richard, you add in, um, Guy Santos-
