Another, uh, good day for software stocks, so let's take a look at Twilio, TWLO is the symbol there.

And then, uh, finally, on my list, I, uh, wanna take a look at Sunoco, SUN, in the energy space.

Ken, I know you've been tracking Guardant Health in the medical sector.

Shares up nearly 5% today, heavy volume, a blue dot breakout.

The agency gave the green light to a series of blood testing meant to work as a companion diagnostic tool to detect tumor mutations.

Biotech company Guardant Health says these tests serve as a liquid biopsy that avoid invasive tissue biopsies, and its clinical trials showed this treatment lowered the risk of disease progression or death by 56% for certain breast, uh, colon, and lung cancers.

Joining us now is Guardant Health CEO Helmy Eltoukhy.

Helmy, thank you so much for coming on.

So help us better understand how a simple blood draw can reveal changes happening inside a tumor.

Quickly before we let you go, what about the cost, 'cause that's always a concern, right? Is it covered by insurance, uh, Medicare? What more can you tell us about that?

Yeah, that's a, that's a great question.

Um, you know, the Guardant360, the, the test that this is based on, is covered for over 300 million, uh, lives in the US And what we found, uh, we did studies in the US and the UK, and the NHS, which you know is very cost-conscious, just adopted Guardant360 for, uh, lung cancer patients there.

And before we dive into everything we wanna talk with you about today, AmirAli, can you tell us a little bit more about yourself, um, and a little bit about your role and what you do today at Guardant Health?

Yeah, sure.

Ah, that's a great point.

Two names stood out, GH and NTRA, both sitting near breakout, both with real catalysts.

GH had an FDA approval, NTRA a fresh buy initiation.

Sure.

So the market's whispering where it wants to go.

That's the line in the sand.

That's the line.

And the watch list? GH with a target of 203 on that FDA approval.

The University of Washington and the Seattle-based company TwinStrand have won a patent infringement lawsuit.

They accused another company called Guardant Health of selling DNA sequencing kits that infringed on TwinStrand's patents.

According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, the company and UW were awarded $245 million by a federal court in Delaware.

The technology was invented by a UW medical student in 2015 who later spun it out into a company.

Now, you know, there's Cologuard.

There's, you know, Guardian that shield blood tests.

Those are recommended for low-risk average every three years.

The problem is...

Maybe it's early detection.

We've had people get in with companies like Guardant Health or Tempus AI.

We've had people get in at SpringWorks Therapeutics.

We've gotten, um, someone today who's with us, Rue Cotter, who's with Exact Sciences.

So he reinvented himself.

He said, "I wanna get into oncology," and that's what he did.

He joined, joined Guardant Health, and now he's making even more money, and he's also at home.
