Guan Yin

I'm so grateful we have this slideshow that people will see the different images I'm going to name.

But we might admire the compassion of Kuan Yin.

for example.

But then as part of a self study practice, we can ask ourselves gently, am I becoming more compassionate in my own relationships? Or when we see Lord Shiva resting in meditation, we can ask ourselves, am I making room for deep stillness in my life? So the images give us a reminder and Point towards something very tangible for us to contemplate.

And it's surrounded by, just in a peaceful garden, surrounded by trees.

It is a very quiet, kind of secluded place at the ashram.

And I love the way that these two images, in a moment we'll see Kuan Yin with the young child.

I love the way these two images speak to, I'll call them complementary qualities.

Right.

And so whatever pieces work for you, back to maybe this angels thing, I mean, we called in Kuan Yin.

in one of our meditations over the weekends.

You know, those, those energies and things transcend, um, religious context.

You know, something about Kuan Yin.

You could say transgender, you could say no gender, you, you know, like Kuan Yin is, is centuries old, and yet, I'm just thinking, you know, Kuan Yin is, could be like the, okay, I'll go with what came, the poster child.

Five, Archangel Michael, freedom, cutting the cords that bind you.

Six, Kuan Yin.

It's about family.

She's a protector of women and children.

And when I do the group clearings in the mornings, Usually each month I'll feature a different one of them.

So this month of May it's Archangel Michael.

Next month it'll be Kuan Yin.

I use her almost every day in private sessions to take away any time I feel sadness.

I already had Jesus and Mary Magdalene, but I picked out in order, well, I put them in order to to mix and match male and female, as well as East and West.

So I picked Buddha, Mary Magdalene, Lao Tzu, Archangel Michael, Quan Yin, Saint Germain, Lakshmi, and Jesus.

And I put them in order as I had to number my MP3s, and I would need to have an introductory, so that would be Module 1.

And then I realized that they had led me to pick these eight, And they put them in, for those of you who know numerology, they were all in the exact spot they were supposed to be.

But what I think about that is... that everything that's ever been created and anything we can ever think is already inside of each one of us individually especially if you believe that we're all one consciousness um experiencing itself through different lenses you know um so therefore when you look when i when i think about looking at guanyin statue or one of the buddha statues i think not of i'm because some people say when you look at the statue say let's just say guanyin that you want to be as if that is the real guanyin and you're talking to guanyin and you're asking guanyin and then you you're seeing the hallucination right the guanyin's talking or whomever but i take it in a different way and say the guanyin is that i'm looking at is a representation of the guanyin that is already in me

yeah yeah

So I'm trying to feel that the capacities and energies and personality of the Guanyin inside myself come forth to be that way.

Yeah.

Yeah.

You will realize that you are the now and the world of perceptions passes through you.

That's why I suggest, instead of like I used to do, be the Blessed Mary or Kuan Yin.

Let it come through you.

I'm not going to say it's going to be pleasant.
