Julia has been outselling Richard at a rate of about five to one.

But when we look at pre-orders on the website, there are an awful lot more of the Richard Osman.

So overall at Birch, Richard has sold a lot more in week one than Gruffalo Granny has.

I think it's going to be a straight fight between the two of them at the top spot.

You know, with the knowledge that this book was coming out, we contacted the publishers, asked if we could get hold of the text so we could work with them to rectify that, really, to release the Braille version to buy on the same day as the book launched worldwide.

The publishers immediately said yes, which was brilliant.
