Groton

When I was first in politics, my first real race that I got paid for was 1994, a contract with America, and I was in Connecticut's 2nd District.

which is the eastern part, the New London, Groton, all the way up along the Rhode Island border up to Massachusetts.

And the guy that I was working for actually was one of the signers of the Contract of America.

And Gingrich and his team came in, and they had these tapes, the GOPAC tapes.

Danasia was 17 years old.

She lived in Groton, Connecticut, and was a senior at New London High School.

To her family and friends, she was Nay.

She was a daughter, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, and a friend.

in groton right and how much uh big wealth in connecticut that is inherently connected to this military industrial complex if we're talking about you know the finance sector it's it's tied in we're talking about the pharmaceutical sector it's tied into the military insurance insurance in hartford yeah insurance is probably the biggest one because when you look at it you know this disaster capitalism is a way that the war has an incentive because you, you, you have a disaster and then you have all these companies who can make money off the rebuilding effort.

Right.

So, and also seize the opportunity of, you know, really cheap real estate.

Obviously, J.P. Morgan descends directly from one of them.

One of the other Morgan brothers, like his grandson or whatever, married into a family called the Averys, who were very prominent in early America out of Groton, Connecticut.

And John D. Rockefeller descends from the Averys.

Scientists are already beginning to implant small seafloor laboratories.

In the future, when large permanent undersea installations for scientific investigation, mining, or fish farming become a reality, nuclear reactors like the one designed for research submersibles or the one already in use in Antarctica and other remote locations will serve as their power plants.
