Grom Hellscream

none of this makes sense but the spirits tell me that i should trust him

thrall's journey was also an attempt to escape the horde's own history he had freed the orcs from internment camps that followed their defeat in the second war and tried to restore the shamanistic traditions demonic corruption had displaced yet freedom from human prisons had not ended the demon's claim upon his people In Ashenvale, Grom Hellscream drank Mannoroth's blood once again to defeat the demigod Cenarius.

The

pool emanates grave power,

How much I don't like this motherfucker.

And my biggest thing is like, I don't expect the character to be flawless and to do only good and have only good in their heart.

And a Grom Hellscream is literally the perfect example of this, of this character who has done bad things and has been flawed and has like made mistakes, even by the standards of the orcs and the people he's trying to help.

But ultimately, he makes a sacrifice in himself.

After the Horde's defeat at the end of the Second War, Ner'zhul rallied the Clan Chieftains and explained the plan brought to him by Terran Gorfiend, which would allow them to fight while also escaping their dying world.

With Terran Gorfiend's plan put into motion, the Dark Portal was reopened and Grommash Hellscream led a small force into the Blasted Lands, including warriors from the Shattered Hand Clan.

With the Orcs creating a distraction for the Alliance and holding control over the portal, Terran Gorfiend broke off with a small contingent to retrieve the artifacts Ner'zhul needed.

Despite the Horde's efforts, eventually the Alliance was able to get a force through, known as the Sons of Lothar, and establish their base, Honorhold.
