Grimbold

This is exactly like how I enjoy planning games for my players is starting with a core villain and then kind of going from there.

And like I like the very first one that I read, which ended up being like my favorite, which is Grimbold, is like, I just love this character.

And like immediately upon reading it, like I just start to envision like not even just one shots, but whole campaigns involving, you know, this this character.

and how their story evolves and how I'm going to use everything that's there, but also how I would make it, you know, my own for like specific stories and locations that I already kind of have in mind.

Well, I'm glad to hear that.

It's very, very reaffirming.

I do have to shout out Azu the Bard of Bard and Raven, who is the writer for Grimbold.

So when I made the project, I was like, I have all these friends now because I had a joke in the Heart of Daggers Discord at one point where I was like, my process has been... make a small campaign frame, kind of just be a good hang for nine months, just chill out and meet people, and then start to really invest in both time and art and all that stuff to put something out.

Heck, we even have the name of Henry's physician, who you may be surprised to find out that physicians actually held a fair amount of pull with the king, for what it's worth.

This man's name was Grimbold.

So there you go, Grimbold.

Now, I chose names we will most likely see on future episodes, but trust, there were so many more.

The following aren't exactly new men, but they are a few of the young men Henry pulled into his sphere of influence.

Read by Marissa Siobhan.

Dr. Grimbold.

Read by Greg Giordano.

Man in velveteen.

Sir Julian assented briefly to this definition of his personality.

You were the first medical man to see the deceased? I was.

And you have since conducted an examination in collaboration with Dr. Grimbold of Scotland Yard? I have.

You are in agreement as to the cause of death? Generally speaking, yes.

I gathered together all that I could find.

Some men I sent with Grimbold of Westfold to join Erkenbrand.

Some I set to make this burial.

They have now followed your marshal, Elfhelm.
